Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.

Giving as an act of worship?

“Worship is our response to what we value most… How do you know where and what you worship? Simply follow the trail of your time, your affection, your energy, your money and your allegiance.  At the end of that trail you’ll find a throne, and whatever or whoever, is on that throne is what’s of highest value to you. On that throne is what you worship… The trail never lies. We may say we value this thing or that thing more than any other, but the volume of our actions speaks louder than our words”.

There are several ways to give at Trinity:

During the Offering at Worship Services

Because we know that giving is an act of worship, one way to give would be during our worship services each Sunday.  All checks are assumed to be general fund contribution unless you designate (faith promise, building fund, etc.) on the check memo line or offering envelope. If you need an envelope contact Lea McLendon.

Mail or Deliver a Check to the Church

You can mail or deliver your contribution directly to the church office at:

Online Bill Payment Service

If you already use your bank’s automated bill payment services, you can set up Trinity Presbyterian Church as an additional vendor for one-time or recurring gifts. Typically, you will need the church’s address (1728 South Hull Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104) and phone number (334-262-3892).

Trinity Presbyterian Church’s Secure Online Giving Options

You can make one-time payments using ACH (electronic checks) or your debit card for general fund, faith promise, building fund and memorial gifts. Trinity has partnered with our church software company, Shelby, to provide this service. While both ACH and debit cards are allowed, please consider using the ACH option since the fees associated are considerably lower.  To use the online giving option, click here.

Other Options:

In additional to traditional form of giving, you can also give to the Church appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and many other types of gifts.  Please contact Michael Hogg if you are considering one of the following kinds of gifts so that we can understand how you would like the gifts to be utilized.

Gifts of Appreciated Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds

You can save capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value for gifts of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have been held longer than twelve months and have appreciated in value. Please contact Michael Hogg if you are interested in transferring these types of assets.

Gifts of Insurance

You can donate an existing insurance policy or name Trinity Presbyterian Church as a beneficiary to a new or existing insurance policy.

Bequests

You can include a gift to Trinity Presbyterian Church in your will or in a living trust. This type of gift allows you to leave a legacy to your church.  Typically for this type of gift you will need assistance from your personal advisors.

Other Non-Cash Charitable Gifts

The church will accept most types of non-cash gifts, provided the gift is determined to be related to the purpose of the church and in the church’s best interest. Some gifts could require approval by the Finance Committee or Session before they are accepted.

If you have any other questions or simply would like to speak with someone about your contribution, please call Mike Hogg at 334-262-3892.  All Financial information at the Church is kept strictly confidential by our Business Office.
