Cameron previously served at Plains Presbyterian Church in Zachary, Louisiana. He was born and raised just outside of Columbia, South Carolina, and attended Erskine College. He served as the RUF intern at the University of Southern Mississippi and completed his MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Cameron married his wife, Brittany, from Jackson, Mississippi, in 2019. The Whitehursts have a daughter and son: Anne Farrell and Meade.
