Join us for Service Day on Saturday, March 6, as we send service teams all around Montgomery to “love our city.”
We will begin at Trinity Presbyterian Church, at 8:30 AM.

E.A.T. South – (Adults) – 10 spots – E.A.T. South is an urban teaching farm in downtown Montgomery. Volunteers will assist with small projects in their new garden space.
Garden District Cleanup Day (All ages) – 15 spots – This is an opportunity for volunteers of all ages to love Trinity’s neighborhood by edging and weeding the sidewalks, as well as cleaning debris from the gutters and storm drains.
Life South Blood Mobile (Ages 16 and up) – The Life South Blood Mobile will be in the Trinity church parking lot from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM. To give blood you must be in good health, 17 years or older (or 16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and show a valid photo I.D. All donors will be tested for Covid-19 antibodies and all possible social distancing guidelines will be followed. You do not need to register in advance to give blood.
Old Cloverdale Community Garden (Adults) – 10 spots – The Old Cloverdale Community Garden is a place where neighbors can come together to share their love of gardening and growing fresh food. Join us as we help the Old Cloverdale Community Garden with edging and pressure washing. Please bring your own tools.
Sidney Lanier High School Cleanup (Ages 15 and up) – 25 spots – Our neighbor, Sidney Lanier High School, needs our help with beautifying their campus! Join us as we clean out flower beds, construct new flower beds, plant seeds, plant flowers, and pull weeds. Tools need to help with this project are: rakes, shovels, garden hoes, wheelbarrows, gloves, heavy duty trash bags, and protective glasses. There is very little shade, so please be sure to bring hats and sunscreen.
Trinity Hall (Ages 1st grade and up) – 20 spots per time slot – We will be assembling care packages in Trinity Hall for the Mid-Alabama Coalition for the Homeless and for Health Care Workers. We will have 2 time slots available to help assemble packages, 8:30-10:00 AM and 10:00-11:30 AM. Masks and social distancing are mandatory.
